Multiple businesses & locations
Manage independent businesses from one account.
SkedSERVICE lets you manage multiple independent businesses from one account. Each business can represent a separate venture, brand, or location, with its own scheduling configuration and booking page.
You can move between your businesses using the business selector without logging out. Adding another business does not carry an additional location fee. Each business is billed separately according to its own confirmed bookings.
Separate businesses, one account
You do not need a separate login for every business you manage.
For example, you could manage two salon locations and a separate wellness business from the same account. Represent each operation as its own business, then select the business you want to work with.
Each business has its own Services, Resources, availability and appointments. Its booking page presents that business’s offering to its customers.
| What you want to do | How SkedSERVICE supports it |
|---|---|
| Manage several ventures | Create a separate business for each operation. |
| Represent different locations | Create each location as an independent business. |
| Move between businesses | Use the business selector without signing out. |
| Offer different Services at each location | Configure the Services within each business. |
| Give customers the right booking destination | Share the booking page for the relevant business. |
Staff can participate in more than one business
The same staff member can belong to more than one business. Availability is configured separately within each business, so participation in one operation does not require an identical schedule in another.
For example, someone who works at one location on Mondays and another on Tuesdays can have the appropriate availability configured in each business.
This is an independent-business model. Membership in several businesses should not be interpreted as a single combined staff schedule or a promise of automatic conflict checking across those businesses. Configure each business’s availability to reflect when the person can actually work there, including any time needed to travel between locations.
People can also be scheduled without having app access. See Your team & app access.
Each business has its own free tier and billing
SkedSERVICE calculates usage separately for each business. Confirmed bookings from different businesses are not added together to determine an account-wide pricing tier.
Each business has:
- Its own monthly confirmed-booking count.
- Its own free tier.
- Its own pricing tier and charge when its usage reaches a paid tier.
For example, if you manage five businesses and each has nine confirmed bookings in a month, all five remain within their individual free tiers. Your total charge for those businesses that month is zero. SkedSERVICE does not combine those bookings into a total of 45 for billing.
| Monthly activity | Billing result |
|---|---|
| Five businesses each have nine confirmed bookings | All five remain free that month. |
| One business reaches a paid tier and the others stay within their free tiers | Only the business that reaches a paid tier incurs a charge. |
| Several businesses reach paid tiers | Each is charged according to its own usage. |
There is no additional fee simply for adding a business or location. However, this does not mean that one business’s paid tier covers all your other businesses. Pricing tiers apply per business, including the highest tier.
See Pricing for the current tiers and the rules for counting confirmed bookings.
When this arrangement is useful
This model suits owners who want to manage separate operations through one account while keeping their scheduling and billing independent.
A second location can have a different offering and availability. A quieter business can remain within its own free tier even when another business is busy. You can switch between them as you manage each operation.
Within each business, SkedSERVICE can coordinate both simple appointments and multi-step Services, including the people, rooms and equipment required at each stage.
